The Overlooked

"Now in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a complaint against the Hebrews by the Hellenists, because their widows were neglected in the daily distribution." Acts 6:1-2

One of the things that can be easy for God's people to do, is to overlook any group of people because they aren't like 'us'. It was a problem in the early church as we read in the above text in Acts, and going forward the Jews continued to struggle to accept the Gentiles into the church. Paul wrote to the Galatian church that "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus" Galatians 3:28.

Join us as we discuss how it is that we can so easily overlook people different from us, and how we need to overcome this.
