Welcome
visitors!
When you come visit
us, expect
a warm welcome! We're delighted to have visitors. (After all, we
were once visitors ourselves.) We
won't call on you, ask you to stand or any any way embarrass
you. (We know it's hard to visit a new church.)
Expect a warm invitation for you and your family
to join our Bible classes.
You
can expect all things to be done "decently and in order"
(as the Bible teaches in I Corinthians 14:40). There will be no outburst
of emotion or chaos that accompanies some religious services.
Our goal is to come calmly, fervently and enthusiastically before God.
You
can expect our worship to be Biblical. There will be singing
(Ephesians 5:19), prayer (Acts 2:42), preaching (II Tim 4:2), we will take
the Lord's Supper (Acts 20:7) and our members will give back to God (I
Corinthians 16:1-2).
You
will not be asked to contribute money.
You can expect to be heard if you believe that the truth
from the word of God has not been spoken in its entirety. Our endeavor
is to worship God "in Spirit and in truth" (John 4:24) and you will
truly be our friend if you point out where we are guilty of error.
